About the finish

The design is a taupe grey-brown oak visual, reproduced across the plank so the grain runs through the floor rather than repeating tile by tile. It is one of 29 designs in the 5 mm loose lay vinyl plank range.

Colour varies between production runs, and a screen does not show a floor the way a room does. We send a physical sample before an order is placed, so the finish is agreed on the material itself.

Construction

• Loose lay construction: the plank holds itself down through weight and friction, so only the perimeter is adhered.
• A 5 mm build gives a firmer, more dimensionally stable plank than a thin dry-back, which is why the range suits large open areas.
• Because the floor is not fully bonded, individual planks can be lifted and replaced later without disturbing the rest of the field.
• Loose lay tolerates minor movement in the subfloor better than a fully bonded sheet, so it is often chosen over existing hard floors.
